- Start with your largest pieces of furniture when estimating space.
- All our storage rooms have a minimum height of 7ft, with some taller. Make sensible use of the height where items can be safely stacked.
- Sturdy, lidded plastic boxes can help keep smaller belongings organised and protected from dust.
- Keep items you will need regularly towards the front.
- Allow access space if you plan to visit frequently or pick business stock.

How much will my storage cost?
Your storage cost depends on the room size you choose. Our current pricing table shows weekly and calendar-monthly prices, including VAT.
The table also sets out the standard deposit, minimum stay and optional Goods Protection costs. We will confirm your arrangement before you sign up.
Can I access my belongings at weekends?
Yes. Customer access is available from 7am to 10pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Office hours are separate: our team is normally on site Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.
What is the minimum storage period?
Our standard minimum storage period is four weeks. You can continue storing for longer if you need to, subject to your Storage Agreement.
Most customers need to give at least one week’s written notice when finishing, although any different arrangement will be set out in your agreement.
Can I move in today?
In many cases, yes, provided a suitable room is available and sign-up and payment are completed during office hours.

Can a removal company bring my belongings?
Yes. You can arrange for a removal company to help move your belongings into storage. We have a large loading area, with trolleys and pallet trucks available for suitable goods.
Please speak to us beforehand if someone will attend without you, so the necessary access arrangements can be agreed.
Do I need insurance or Goods Protection?
Your goods must be protected for their full new replacement value. You can choose our optional Goods Protection Plan or arrange your own suitable insurance.
Our Goods Protection Plan is not insurance. It increases our responsibility for specified risks, subject to its terms and exclusions.
If arranging your own insurance, check that your policy covers goods kept in self storage. Full details are explained during sign-up.
Will you consider matching another storage quote?
Yes. If you have a lower quotation from a local storage facility on a genuinely like-for-like basis, speak to us and we will try our best to match it.
When comparing, check the room size, VAT, any additional protection costs and how long the quoted rate applies.
Can I view a unit before booking?
Yes. You are welcome to visit our Bamber Bridge facility and look at suitable available sizes before making a decision.
Visit during normal office hours or contact us to arrange an appointment outside those hours.
